EP-704A is a high-efficiency and environmentally friendly flame retardant for PP with
phosphorus-bromine synergism. It does not contain melamine and fully meet the requirements of RoHS and
REACH regulations.
Compared with traditional brominated flame retardants, EP-704A has high flame
retardant efficiency, low addition amount, no precipitation, no need to add heavy metal synergists such as
Sb2O3, and low bromine content. EP-704A can make the materials reach UL 94 V-2 (1.5mm) level and
pass IEC 60695 glow wire GWIT 750 ℃ and GWFI 850 ℃ tests. Flame-retardant products also have the
characteristics of low density, low smoke generation, and low mold corrosion. They are mainly used to
manufacture electrical housings, sockets, electrical frameworks, automotive connectors and other products. In addition , the bromine content of flame retardant products can be controlled at ≤900ppm, meeting the
halogen-free requirements of IEC 61249-2-21.
